Bon Appétit series has a stitched vinyl cover and die-cut window with dimensional tip-on embellishment. Deluxe kitchen binders are conveniently sized to organize and store recipes, clippings, and print-outs. Binder measures 11"w x 11 13/16"h x 2 1/4"d and has 12 tabbed divider pages, 12 PVC-Free pocket page sheets (holds 5" x 7" recipe cards), 12 PVC-Free sheet protectors (holds 8 1/2" x 11" sheets), and features sturdy 3-ring construction to easily add additional pocket page sheets or sheet protectors. Each binder comes with 24 5" x 7" recipe cards to get you started and has a tie-clasp storage envelope to keep clippings and recipes until you're ready to file. " This thing is big, holds a spiral bound notebook or a regular 8.5x11 pad, with enough pockets for ID badges, business cards, magazines, etc. There is one 'gadget pocket' for a cell phone or MP3 player or small camera; it closes with a velcro flap. One other pocket has a zipper; I use that one for secure ID tags and the like. The portfolio is big enough to replace my briefcase. but small enough to fit into a computer bag. It's very well made and the outer zipper makes it much more secure than a normal padfolio.
The three-ring paper holder can be removed and it has one external pocket for holding papers.
I use it with my Livescribe pen and notebooks. I wish only that it had a ring for hold "

" I thought these binders might have the soft, bendable type of cover...but it does not. The covers are nice and sturdy. They do have some give to them, but not much. The interior cloth pockets are very nice. They look like they're attached well to the inside of both front and back covers. The ring fixtures are plastic, though not cheap. The tru-lock feature is very nice and easy to use. You just gently pull down the latch on the bottom and the rings unlock and then open up. It is very quiet and simple. Closing is just as easy. This would be great for young children, as there is almost no risk of pinching yourself in the rings.
The price of the binder is very good, especially for as nice as they are. I'm very pleased with these, and will most likely purchase even more as I finish college."

When I received them I was thrilled to discover the new plastic sliding ring system. It's quiet; no loud snap when you close the rings. It is made of plastic; which will allow flexibility to the rings so they do not get misaligned which the metal ones do quite often which makes them completely useless...bonus feature to the plastic is no little wounds on the fingers from getting pinched by the metal rings.
I am thrilled with my purchase and wish I could have ordered more at that awesome price. I am willing to pay the regular price for them; so my next set of binders for college will be these."
